A former version of Bucky would’ve liked to tell you he held out for a long time. That it took them a lot to break him and he was strong for years.that despite the beatings at random intervals, the torture, the attempts at wiping him, the mind altering drugs making him hallucinate and reform his own memories. But in reality it wasn’t very long at all.
He was never a good man. He was a good soldier.
And good soldiers can be made into even greater weapons.
Steven Grant Rogers. Man out of time, Captain america, saviour, relic.. lost. Steve would've liked to tell you he was faring well in this new age.
