Except she has a crush on the captain of the Avengers team and his boyfriend, James "Bucky" Barnes, which she keeps her distance. Until she goes on a mission with a few other agents after she gets a talk from one of her bosses to move up in SHIELD. But things go wrong with her being the sole survivor and taken to a base to HYDRA for human experiments. Until the Avengers come to rescue her, finding her after a few months of torture.
