Jane is born as a metahuman. A mutant if you will. She has the power to create, to give life, and to adjust it to her liking. Like an artist—a god amongst humans.
But that kind of power comes with a price.
It is not surprising that under all of that pressure, the little girl changes into something no one would ever expect, given that her father wants to use her for his own gain and that others are trying to take her away from him.

Years have gone by since the event, and she has not used her power since. Unfortunately, life is cruel, and it treats her in the most unfair way possible.
Discovering she has two beings permanently tethered to her back and that her life is all of a sudden in danger, the girl chooses to run away.
And just when she feels like it is all finally sort of over, a guy that introduces himself as Nick Fury shows up in her rented room and asks her to join his team.
What on earth is she getting herself into?
